Do you love storytelling through images, reels, and clever captions? Are you passionate about building community and creating digital content that inspires and engages? Join Filoli as our next Social Media Manager and help us connect beauty, nature, and history with a vibrant, modern voice.

As part of our dynamic Marketing & Communications team, you’ll lead strategy and content creation across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You’ll work alongside passionate colleagues across departments to showcase Filoli’s seasonal magic, historic house, stunning gardens, engaging programs, and meaningful mission.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and execute a thoughtful, data-informed social media strategy
   

• Plan and create engaging content (photos, videos, reels, and more)
   

• Manage a content calendar aligned with events, seasons, and campaigns
   

• Capture and share behind-the-scenes moments and live events
   

• Collaborate with teams across Filoli to tell powerful stories
   

• Grow our digital community and monitor engagement
   

• Stay on top of social trends and bring fresh ideas to the table
   

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–5 years of social media or digital marketing experience
   

• Strong storytelling, photography, and video skills
   

• Proven track record managing brand voice and engagement across platforms
   

• Passion for nature, culture, and community-building
   

• Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and scheduling platforms (e.g. Later or Hootsuite)
   

• A collaborative spirit and creative mindset
   

Position Details:

• Hourly Rate Range:  $39.00 to $47.00 (depending on candidate experience)
   

• Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Benefits Eligible
   

• Location: Filoli Historic House & Garden, Woodside, CA
   

• Reports to: Director of Marketing & Communications
   

• Schedule: Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays to capture some live events
