What You'll Do
Reporting to the Director of Retail Operations, you'll be the backbone of our retail merchandise flow. Your efforts will directly enhance the guest experience by ensuring our shops are always stocked and organized.
Key responsibilities include:

Inventory Master: Maintain accurate inventory records, process adjustments, and manage inter-departmental transfers. You'll be key in generating reports and supporting our bi-annual inventory cycles.

Receiving & Documentation Pro: Efficiently log all incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and condition. You'll verify packing slips and invoices, create product tags, and coordinate with internal teams for timely processing.

Organizational Whiz: Keep our back-of-house, basement, and storage areas neat, organized, and highly functional. You'll uphold our standards of excellence and cleanliness.

Communication Hub: Serve as the go-to expert on our inventory and reporting systems, communicating stock availability and delivery timelines to our Retail Managers and sales associates. You'll also assist with online order fulfillment and shipping.

Operational Support: Work closely with the Retail Buyer and Accounting teams to align deliveries with vendor payments and contractual terms.
This is a part-time position, up to 29 hours per week, with variable hours that may occasionally include evening shifts. Depending on candidate experience, the hourly range for this position is $34.40 to $37.00.
Who You Are
You're a proactive problem-solver with a meticulous eye for detail and a collaborative spirit.
You Have:

Experience: At least 1-2 years of retail stocking, inventory, or warehouse experience. Previous museum or non-profit experience is a plus!

Education: A high school GED or equivalent.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, resourcefulness, and the ability to follow through on tasks to successful completion.

Tech Savvy: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products and Google Applications. Experience with computerized POS/inventory management systems is strongly preferred (knowledge of YellowDog, Square, and Roller are a bonus!).

Team Player: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach and a positive, calm demeanor.

Physical Capability: Able to lift/carry items up to 40 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and occasionally climbing.

Availability: A flexible work schedule, including seasonal peaks, to meet organizational needs.
