We're seeking a dynamic and multifaceted Talent Development Specialist to join our People & Culture (P&C) team. If you're a creative communicator, a confident presenter, and a talented training architect who is passionate about fostering a positive and productive work environment, this is your chance to make a real impact. You'll be instrumental in driving employee engagement, facilitating effective communication, and developing impactful training programs that empower our team to thrive.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ignite Engagement & Connection: Develop and execute internal communication strategies and engaging employee campaigns that promote P&C initiatives, company updates, and a strong sense of community across Filoli.

  • Craft Transformative Learning Experiences: Design and deliver engaging training programs on a range of vital topics, from onboarding to guest service excellence, compliance, and HR essentials, incorporating valuable tools like SDI Core Strengths and Situational Leadership principles.

  • Facilitate Growth & Development: Lead dynamic workshops, presentations, and virtual training sessions, fostering active participation and ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development for diverse employee groups.

  • Champion a Seamless Onboarding Journey: Create and maintain comprehensive onboarding materials and serve as a key point of contact for new hires, providing guidance and support to ensure their successful integration into the Filoli family.

  • Support a Thriving Talent Lifecycle: Efficiently manage offer letters, new hire documentation, and other employee lifecycle-related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Contribute to a High-Performing Culture: Provide administrative support for the performance review cycle and the development of individual development plans, helping to cultivate a culture of continuous growth and feedback.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for people development and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and delivering engaging training programs and developing compelling learning content across various modalities.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and crafting impactful internal communications.

  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to connect with and engage diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines and resources effectively.

  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.

  • A proactive and employee-centered approach, with excellent communication (listening, speaking, and writing) and interpersonal skills.

  • A commitment to Filoli’s dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion, incorporating inclusive design principles into all aspects of your work.

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Communications, or a related field.

  • Preferred: Certification or demonstrated proficiency in SDI Core Strengths, Situational Leadership, or similar methodologies.
